BCom Honours (Computer Applicaitons)

B.Com Computer applications is a four-year course which imparts the students with theoretical as well as practical knowledge in the field of commerce and computers.This course enables the students to understand, learn and manage the use of financial, software computer aided packages connected with various business functions like finance, banking, insurance etc.

Course outcome:

The student will be able to demonstrate the basic understanding of accounting policies with practical application. They will be able to monitor and access changing accounting procedures and show ongoing theoretical development and exhibit competent and consistent performance in various subjects.Students get equipped to accept the challenges of the competitive world. They will be able to understand and develop ability to apply the subject matter in various emerging and real life situations such as filing tax returns, statistical applications in business analysis and marketing research.Students are ready for beginning a career in the corporate world. They are given a strong foundation enabling to pursue career in taxation. They also learn to prepare cost sheets if necessary in their business. It will be a stepping stone in pursuit of cost accountancy as a profession and will help them understand professional ethics. It will also help them in choosing auditing as a profession. The students will be able to gauge the standards of performance to be used in making an effective interpretation.
